12-3. You have a choice to work for a globally integrated enterprise, a multinational, a glorecalized MNE, a micro-multinational, or a digi-corp. Which would you choose? Why?
In todays business world, there are a variety of different types of companies to work for. Global enterprises, multinationals, glorecalized MNEs, micro-multinationals, and digi-corps are all options. Each type of company has its own advantages and disadvantages. So, which one would I choose to work for?
I think the answer depends on what my goals are. If I am looking for stability and a traditional corporate career path, then a global enterprise or multinational would be the best choice. There are a number of reasons why multinationals or globally integrated enterprises tend to offer employees more stability. First, these organizations have a presence in many different countries, which gives them a wider pool of potential customers and revenue streams (Daniels et al., 2017). This stability can be passed down to employees, who are less likely to be laid off in the event of a downturn in one particular market. Additionally, multinationals tend to have more comprehensive benefit packages, including things like health insurance and retirement plans. This can attract and retain top talent, which in turn can help to drive business growth. Finally, multinationals are often better able to weather economic storms due to their size and resources.
